Volunteers handbook 2023

 

One Voice for Animals UK (OVFAUK) could not operate without our volunteers.  We are grateful for each and every one.

 

Our pledge to you:

 

• We will set high standards in animal welfare for any organisations we approve as members

• We will value your time, where possible organise meetings and calls at times that suit you

• We will provide you with a buddy 

• We will provide references on request

• In accordance with GDPR we will not share your personal information and we will only record your name and contact details 

 

What we ask from you:

• Please join our Facebook groups, like our pages and follow our social media on any platforms you belong to.

 

• Please promote OVFAUK, our values and our rescue directory on your websites and social media.

 

• Please promote our blogs and campaigns sections on our website - the more we can get people to visit, the more likely they are to support their local rescues

 

• Please let us know if you are unable to complete a task allocated to you or if you need more clarity on what we've asked you to do

 

• We respect our members privacy, please keep any information you are privvy to as a OVFA volunteer, confidential
